Kentucky Sees Significant Drop in the Illegal Sales of Pseudoephedrine
Kentucky became the first to take MethCheck statewide in 2008. In the first six months, authorities were able to block the illegal sale of more than 35,000 grams of pseudoephedrine. That translates to approximately 17,000 grams of meth that could have been made. Both law enforcement and local pharmacies have found MethCheck to play a key role in cutting off a key source of meth production.
