“My office caseload is approximately 45,000 per year, including misdemeanors and felonies. VINE [Courts] is tremendously important in what we do, allowing our victim advocates to spend less time trying to locate people and more time helping people.”
Robert Herzfeld, Jr.
County Prosecutor
Saline County, Arkansas
VINE Courts is a fully automated service that helps keep crime victims informed about the progress of their cases through the courts. VINE Courts not only makes it easy for victims and other interested parties to obtain up-to-date information about their court cases via telephone or Web portal, but it also allows them to search for and register to receive notification about changes in a particular event/case.
This service provides automated inbound and outbound call services for crime victims within a specific state, county, or city. Victims of crime can call a toll-free number to receive basic information about a court case/event.
When a victim registers, VINE Courts monitors the case, and automatically begins making notification attempts when a change occurs. In addition, a public Web portal is also available to victims and concerned citizens that allows them to have 24/7 access.
